As much as I hate unnecessary generational gap arguments, this one’s pretty fuckin funny.

Ok, I must respond to this because of how ridiculous it is...I wasn’t “scared off” from a downvote. I was just saying that even though I proposed something, as requested, it was downvoted. Ok, so it wasn’t by you. Cool (I didn’t even see that you commented that your weren’t the downvoter). I’m not planning on responding because you’re insufferable to talk to. Everything you say is in anger and false superiority. Your assumption about why I’m deciding not to further the discussion is beyond pathetic. I know it’s just an attempt to cut me down and make you seem more resilient. I’m not going to play this game. Have a good day, @famousone...you are nuts, and so are your conclusions.

I proposed a solution that fit your criteria (gun control without ultimate infringement), and you downvoted me. You won’t like any solution, because you’re so threatened by any change. I now see it’s impossible to have a debate with you, since you’ll just shoot down anything that isn’t your worldview. Yep, it’s all about you, you, you. I’m not going to even pay attention to your comments anymore. It’s futile to argue with a stone.

Also, when discussing solutions, I’m not even talking about solutions proposed by either parties. Maybe I’m proposing my own ideas.

I actually do want to have a civil debate with you, believe it or not...I’m just asking for a little less unnecessary extremism.

I wasn’t even talking about the democrats or their agenda...this is the shit I’m referring to. You just jump right to conclusions. For example, I wasn’t defending democrats, yet that was your first stop. I’m not even aligned with them. Would a little gun control, as in a mental illness screening kill anyone? No, it would probably save some fucking lives. But you’re so gung-ho, slippery-slope that you will never see solutions that lie somewhere in the middle (I’m not saying every problem has a solution in the middle). Mental patients and convicted felons don’t even have most of their rights, so tell me what the problem is with a mental health screening? Even if it takes guns away from a few thousand people, the majority still get to keep theirs, and the 2nd amendment doesn’t perish. Can I ask that you stay on topic, and don’t start wailing on the dems? That just...kills any sense of respect I could have for debate with you. You have a habit of reaming them, unprovoked, for no reason.

Maybe people would take you and our values more seriously and with more respect if you didn’t come from a place of total condescension. You treat it as if you have all the answers, and we are mere tadpoles in your froggy lake. @pripyatplatypus is right...the reality is, you come from a place of total predictability and regurgitated, conservative (extremism) bullshit. “Sensible gun control” does not mean “taking guns away from everybody.” Maybe we’d respect your opinions more if you actually responded logically to things. It’s always an emotional tornado. I’m just letting you know why you’re receiving so much opposition and criticism from this community. Maybe don’t act like everyone else stupid, ok?

@famousone The thing is, even though I don’t claim to know his direct crimes, if the crimes are present and in your face in clear documented form, you still wouldn’t believe the accusations. I’m just saying man, your behavior leads me to believe you can’t be swayed, even if there were undeniable truths present.

I can see you missed my point entirely. The point was that neither parties in whole are for you. Your party just so happens to share certain values you hold, not because they care, but because it serves them. I’ve always hated the “lesser of two evils” argument. You know, just because you don’t support what the dems are doing doesn’t mean that republicans are part of a holy brigade bringing you a slice of personal heaven. I don’t see why you’re unable to accept that both parties are trash and need cleaning of house. Your response can be defined as one of denial. I’m not in denial of what you’ve said. I’ve accepted dems are shitty, and haven’t argued otherwise; and yet, your response is structured as if I was defending them. I didn’t even mention Trump, but you explicitly defended him. That’s odd, what you’re doing. Again, my point is we need a massive reform. Doesn’t matter the party.

Nearly all of congress and high political powers are disconnected from the little guy. I don’t see why dems are solely being blamed for all the fuckwits in office. I’m not defending dems, by the way, I’m calling them all out. Neither rich republicans nor democrats have your best interest at heart, I promise.

Epstein: important to reach results of investigation. Important to bring those accused to justice.
Greta: important to acknowledge her influence. Important to choose another leader that isn’t a child. Important to focus on environment.
Trump: important to investigate using third-parties, and yield results not from inside his circle. Important to consider impeachment if crimes are true and severe.
Not important: calling Greta a brat.
Also not important: calling one of these three topics unimportant just because you disagree with a sentiment toward one of these issues.

...Thank you for explaining the joke. I mean, really, I’m not being sarcastic that you’ve provided a service, but the joke was implied that you would have to abandon all semblance of logic with garlic in order to OD. I mean, everything has an LD...some just require creative solutions to attain! P.s. I did give you a like for the information.

I was one of those lucky people that encountered them without trying. The trade off being, I’ve only ever come across 1 shiny in the wild in my 1000s of hours of playing Pokemon. 1. It was a stupid Spinda in Emerald.
