Philosophy gives you the ability to ponder. If you’re pompous about it, then yeah your dinner party with be pissed off. There’s nothing wrong with being in a state of wonderment. Does philosophy=intelligent? Probably to an extent, but your average philosopher probably isn’t a genius by any means.

God now I’m hungry for some Thai cuisine. It’s cheaper and much healthier than any Chinese restaurant in the area. We also have two bomb-ass Indian restaurants. I go to one for the cheap but delicious buffet, and the other for finer dining.

There’s a local restaurant called Mai’s Deli where I live, and it is DIVINE. First of all, I’ve had everything on the menu, and have never been disappointed. Second, they have stuffed chicken wings that are TO DIE FOR. Finally, their pho is only $9, but comes in a huge-ass bowl with sides if basil, jalapeño, and bamboo shoots. It’s a “good luck finishing this in one sitting” type of situation.

Someone who believes they are a good mother just because they have a special needs child. Someone who fishes for praise, and deflects any criticism. Someone who doesn’t actually have the best intentions, but always has to be right. Someone who expects free handouts. Someone who has such disregard for their child, that they might as well see that child as a fucking chair.
