Ok, but if I’m ignorant to the thing it’s referring to, my first thought is going to be “he doesn’t look like a Norse god” not “oh this is clearly a reference to something, better move on hurr durr.” How would I know it’s a reference to begin with? There are plenty of posts like this, as I said, with people who behave this way, and it’s not a reference to anything. Given those parameters, it’s not “that simple” that the post isn’t for me.

Never heard of them. Let me ask you this...with my ignorance of their humor, and that they are a Youtuber, why would I assume they are joking? Especially since it’s quite common for people on the internet to be egotistical and say they look like someone (e.g. a celebrity), all while being serious about their statement, even though they don’t look like how they claim whatsoever.

Look, your words appear condescending, but I’ll just get over it. I’m 25, I know of older people in their 40’s that use myrrh and frankincense resin in a spiritual way, and claim to experience a high. That is what I was looking for with sources: burning and inhaling a combination of the aforementioned resins. I also know of a shop owner in his 60’s who is vet worldly that claims the same. So now you have that information.

But people DO do it. I know some personally that do. You know, I’m asking for actual sources here for the combination...no need to get snide about it...
