Some of these are opinion based and a couple are just scientifically ridiculous. But you must admit that at least half of these are, or should be, common sense.

So you think carnivorous animals can survive without the nutrients they were designed to metabolize? You think only women get raped? You think abuse is only physical? You think only men can abuse women. or only parents can abuse children? You think being attracted primarily to people of the same race or sub-race automatically makes you a racist? You think rape is the victim's fault? You think breastfeeding is some kind of genetic modification created with the purpose of... I don't even know what?

Some people drink like a gallon of water a day, but they get so upset that they thrash around wildly when a gallon of water is in their lungs.

No, it is biased because this post points certain things out (to appeal to Tumblrs), yet leaves out that they are systematically destroying every story line for each of their creations, rendering the art upon which they were based (back when the superheros/villains were innovative and not just a collection of fads) moot. Marvel is worse about it than DC.

Reciprocal altruism is somewhat of an oxymoron. "I fully don't believe *there is any such thing as a truly selfless act" ... that is effectively admitting there is no such thing as actual altruism.

Again, there are exceptions, but altruism is certainly not a general part of human nature.

If any study claims widespread human altruism, they have an incomplete definition of altruism or are heavily biased. Case in point: every single day of your life people try to take from you and nearly every single person around you is concerned with their own well-being. Many of them are disinterested in the well-being of others (unless family or friends), making it the complete opposite of altruism. Their concern for family and friends is also borne of a selfish nature to not feel emotional pain because of their death. Concern for children is also inherently selfish, as the passage of one's genetic material is the only grasp at immortality most of us organisms currently have.

How is completely ruining the foundation of one of the greatest comics companies to ever exist by warping everything to fit into new fads which will hopefully die out a good thing?

Someone who thinks they are a 10: not a 10. Someone thinks they are a 2 (particularly women): are probably closer to a 10.

If this picture gets posted in enough places, someone is going to be dumb enough to say something like "This is animal abuse. We shouldn't be making GMO cats. We shouldn't be playing god. If my comment gets 1000 likes, Jesus will save this poor animal".

This only works if humans were not inherently greedy. With a few exceptions of altruistic individuals, often in other species (most of which die as a result of their altruism before they get the chance to reproduce), the majority of organisms are greedy in order to survive.

I suppose it is better when people don't even bother to make jokes and just bring up touchy issues?

Very well. However, when opinion is supported by facts, is it still opinion?
