But it is the type of crap some people will believe, quote as if it were serious and well-informed, and start a movement about. If someone said this about women, trans, blacks (unless they were black), or really anyone else, then it would be an outrage. It's bullshit, that's all, not a joke.

So much stupidity, misinformation, and blatant lying all at once.

Stir and blow for like 15 seconds. It will most likely cool it down more efficiently, plus save you 5 minutes on getting the straws, glass, ice, water, and assembling that. By the time you built it, the soup would be cool anyways. Work smarter, not harder.

Yes, proof. But not blind belief until proven false. A hypothesis is proposed based on observation, the hypothesis is tested to gather evidence. If the evidence supports the claim, then the level of confidence in that hypothesis increases and it is re-tested in different situations to continually gather evidence. Science is definitely not "true until proven false".

I make it at home. I run the machine while I am getting dressed. In the summer, I make it the night before and put it in the refrigerator for some tasty cold coffee.

And that is exactly the mentality that made it impossible for real science to exist for thousands of years.

What difference does it make that it means moon in other languages? It isn't about what I want to name the moon. It has a name, which happens to mean moon in Latin because it was named after the moon goddess. I don't see how it is hard to follow. Jupiter was named after the king of the gods, and all of the other planets (again, not Earth) and many galaxies are named after gods.

Can't it be both? Since all of the planets (except Earth) are named after Greek or Roman gods, Luna being the moon goddess and being the name for the moon is logical.

I agree that it shouldn't. However, some professors count attendance for a grade; get used to doing things that you don't think are necessary because you have to. Also, some institutions mandate that attendance is part of a grade. Some professors do not care and just make up the paperwork. Others have tenure or are responsible for a considerable amount of funding for the institution, so they can ignore certain policies.
tl;dr do everything that is required for your grade, including attendance (if it is a requirement). You may as well have said "I would have had a 100% if I didn't fail the final"
