There's a cool theory that the Marauders charmed the map so that if someone was in their Animagus form they would only show up if the person looking at the the map knew about their Animagus form. This way their secret would be safe even if someone else found the map and wondered why they were running around in the middle of the night for example :) also explains why Remus could see Peter on the map and why it took so long for Harry to notice it as well.

I don't see this as a good thing but I also don't see it as a bad thing. Yes it's shaping them, helping them and educating them, but they're all the same. Any individuality or creativity that does not neccasarily accord to the social norm or wouldn't be deemed 'acceptable' by society is chopped away.

One of the main firefighting helicopters in Australia (Elvis) filled up in my dam once when they were fighting a bushfire in a mountain about 2km from our land. It was pretty cool :)

I had a dream that I wanted to turn into a story but in it my friend gets his hand melted of by lava and then we all have to kill people to survive. I was seriously creeped out by my imagination for a while.
