You'd have to prove that the current distribution of Oscars is not proportional to national race demographics. If whites make up say, 60% of america, and are winning 60 to 70% of oscars. While blacks make up 15% of america, and are winning 10%-20%, then that's an acceptable deviation. If they are winning 1% of oscars then I might agree. But chances are people are getting pissed off without being smart enough to understand that statistics are not racist.
