@needmorec4 Because those are separate sins. Loving God isn't a free pass into heaven. Nor is being ignorant of him. What you do in life still matters, and sons like those are what's known as mortal sins which, if you don't repent for them, are essentially a one-way ticket to hell. So sorry mate, just because you choose not to get to know God doesn't mean you can just waltz around wreaking havoc.

Think of it this way. You have the chance to get to know a guy who can give you a million dollars if you be his best friend. Some people will try to get to know him, and they'll get the money. Others may not want to risk it, thinking he might not be the kind of person they want to be friends with. They'll get the money too, because the guy knows that there's still a chance they'll be his friend. But the people who get to know him and decide they don't want his company or his money are the only ones who get nothing, because they and the guy both know they'll be happier without the reward and each other.

You can choose whether or not to educate yourself, but even if you choose not to learn you can still get to Heaven. Also, did you read a single word of my comments before replying? @changetheworld You're right! There is no excuse for turning away from God ON PURPOSE. Most who hear about God and still reject him however, don't know the true God. I'll take a moment to inform you of the requirements for a sin. It must be FREELY CHOSEN, so if someone turns away from God due to societal pressure, it doesn't count. Additionally, it must be FULLY KNOWN. if you don't fully know God, you don't fully know what you're doing when you turn away from him. The only reason God sends anyone to Hell for turning away from him is when they truly know him, and they and God both know that they would be happier in Hell than with him.
