Each case is different, each person is different - it's unfair to generalise homeless people and brand them as 'lazy' or 'alcoholics'. Some have very unfortunate circumstances, sometimes it's out of their control, they may have got caught up in drugs or wrong crowd of people etc. there is more resources available now than say 10 years ago so that's progress right? Homeless people don't need handouts but help to get back onto their feet. Thrashing them isn't going to help!
