realistically speaking you generally shouldn't have an issue with the general group of humans who fit the category "pedophile." From what I've read the extreme vast majority of them are just a slightly different flavor of mentally ill person that deals with unhealthy brain things that cause them internal distress but never actually have any conscious wish or desire to cause a child harm.
Like, i get having a problem with the IDEA of pedophilia existing in the first place, or having a problem with people that harm/abuse/manipulate children, but having a problem with the "group of humans, pedophiles" isn't really any different than having an issue with the "group of humans, manic bipolar people."

from an algorithm standpoint its better to have multiple task specific channels that stick to a theme that similar enough to itself that the same viewers will generally like all the videos ad watch them.
If you have a single channel or 2 channels with the main one being half of your stuff and the second one being the other half the algorithm will see that sections of your demographics dont like X or dont like Y and make it far less likely that your stuff will be shown to new people an in extreme cases make it far less likely itll be shown to your subscribers.

That’s a false equivalency. Improving safety regulations in regards to hot air balloons isn’t taking hot air balloons away from people that run hot air ballon related things in a safe manner already, it’s not even taking hot air balloons away from people that do it unsafely, it’s forcing people who are using hot air balloons unsafely to, while keeping said balloons, not use them in a way that hurts innocent people.
That’s the equivalent of hitting individuals who, in the past have or plan to in the future, use guns in a way that hurts innocent people while not doing anything to people who already have no real risk of harming an innocent individual, comparing it to gun control as generally gets put forth after a shooting is fallacious.

This kind of thing, specifically this way of something happening, seems to me like a really good thing because it gives that hard slap to the inside of the brain that maybe something doesn’t fit your internal thoughts in a way that you can’t ignore rather than something they can just rationalise away as still fitting their thought patterns. At least in this case I can definitely see the people doing this trying to rationalise it as “oh well they all just found it funny and voted for her as a joke” but that would require they forget that the original purpose of the “joke” was that she wouldn’t get any votes
