Yes, and mental and emotional abuse go right along with that. Physical abuse normally follows once the abuser feels they have their victim isolated enough from their support system and has learned all they could about their victims past fears, childhood experiences that scarred them, their vulnerabilities, etc. so they can use them like heavy stones to hurl at them non-stop until they witness them crumble. Yes, I am a domestic violence abuse survivor and even though I finally was successful at escaping his grip back in December of 2001, the scars will never leave, only fade.

I know they are so cute when they beg for food, or they just LOVE potato chips, etc. but these preservative filled foods are killing them faster than they kill us. Cats and dogs do not have digestive systems equipped to handle a lot of the things we ingest so be sure to feed them a quality diet of kibble if you do not wish to feed Raw or the BARF diet. Errrr.... That would be the "Bones and Raw Foods", nutritionally balanced pet diet. (for those of you who just had a moment of nausea) As well as using only safe and nutritional treats ***NOTE: Raw Hide treats and Pig Ears\Hooves are the #1 cause of pets developing a gastrointestinal blockage and needing emergency surgery. Many do not survive. By the time symptoms develop you have between 15 minutes and 2 hours max before it's too late.

Ugh. She probably is being charged under some vigilante statute. However, as the mother, she should be able to justify her actions with the right attorney. Hope she gets off with probation or better yet, acquitted.

This is a great idea. :) Let's also not forget that many homeless people have a pet, normally a dog, who means the world to them. A small bag of dog food, new leash and collar and maybe a chew toy would make their friend happy too :)

This is a lesson I learned long ago. Although my hubby is polite enough to not only put the seat back down but wipe any sprinkles left behind up with tissue, he does plenty of other stuff that could drive me bonkers but doesn't because in life you have to pick your battles. If you bitch about him squeezing the toothpaste tube in the middle or leaving his dirty clothes next to the hamper on the floor, you will be bitching all your life. The relationship sours, and ends. Save the arguments for the stuff you simply cannot and will not tolerate. We all have annoying habits, find someone who's annoying habits you can live with and who can live with your annoying habits as well.
