Why is religion precluded from being made fun of? I see nothing about religion that gives it any status warranting reverence or respect. You may, but that is YOUR choice. Mine is having developed an opinion after studying the history of religion and the bible. I find it interesting how religion gave itself this untouchable status and those who don't believe in it are supposed to grant it this same status as well. Doesn't work that way. You want devotions? Go cruise a site dedicated to religion. You want humor? This is the right place. Feel free to scroll past any posts you do not like. That's the beauty of the internet.

After all the sadness in my FB newsfeed surrounding dogs in shelters, the giraffe killed and butchered in front of a crowd at a zoo, and more, this is the story I needed to restore a bit of faith in humanity. Love this. You go lil' super hero dude.

Those are eye boogers but it's sadder if it's a tear. Seriously though, as a long time dog trainer and breeder (German Shepherds) this one hit me right in the gut. :(

When I was young this was common practice for teachers to pin notes to students shirts. With STRAIGHT PINS, not baby pins. No. They wanted to be sure we could impale ourselves.

This is why it's so cruel to keep them in circuses. Chained to the floor 95% of the time and only let out to perform stupid tricks for our amusement. :(

Horrific. My heart goes out to his poor mother and the rest of his family and friends. How sad this is. Is this what we have become? Have we not evolved past this point yet? Wake me up when we do.

I have a Canon Rebel T2i capable of capturing up to 3.7 frames per second. Even with the walk around lens (the lens that came with the camera body in the kit) I can zoom in like this. I have a favorite photo of one of my dogs. In the original picture he is nothing more than a small, insignificant figure way in the back. The photo was actually of one of my other dogs who was running past. I had it on sports mode and zoomed in to the imported photo and cropped this out using Corel Paintshop Photo Pro X3. Literally a spot that was no more than 10% of the entire photo, and that is being generous. Here is the shot....

I need to go back to the raw image and re-edit it now that I have CS5 and Lightroom 3.

I always crack up at the person panicking over people choosing free thought over the mind slavery of religion. Don't YOU see what is going on here? The church has used religion as mind control for generations. Study the history of religion and open your eyes some time.

Some real mothers are evil. I was a runaway at age 14 due to physical, mental, verbal, and emotional abuse. My mother would lose her temper and beat me until she couldn't lift her arm any longer. My father died of a heart attack 3 weeks before my 13th birthday and when he was no longer around to stop her from hitting me the situation quickly got out of control. She is still capable of reducing me to tears with her lack of compassion and palatable disdain for me. And people wonder why I moved all the way across the country one day at the drop of a hat. To escape that witch. To never have her show up unannounced and proceed to tear me down with her judgemental and snotty remarks. A blended family adds a dynamic that is ripe with opportunity for kids to feel unwanted and unloved, but that can happen with your biological parents too.

These wars have nothing to do with anything other than profit. It is disgusting that our government engages in battle with other countries at the drop of a hat because private military contractors are lining the pockets of our politicians with their ill gotten gains. For this, young men and women are dying and they do not care. It's all about the money and it's enough to make you go insane if you really think about the morality of this issue.

Exactly. It's beyond irritating. I used to love watching the History channel. Also, Animal Planet used to have some awesome weekend programming by showing Agility Trials, Ring Sport Trials, Frisbee Dog Championships, etc. And now? A "Too Cute" marathon. Or worse, a marathon of "Call of the Wildman". Seriously??? GAH! What happened to original programming like Meerkat Manor?? I miss the days when you could find intelligent and entertaining programming on a variety of channels. Now my DVR record button gathers dust as you are lucky to find ONE program to watch at a time that isn't scripted controversy or pure fluff.

I MUST find this product on Amazon. The customer reviews are no doubt going to be hilarious. I've spent hours laughing until I cried reading the reviews for the 5lb bag of sugarless gummy bears and for the Hutzler 571 Banana slicer. If you ever get bored there is hours of entertainment on Amazon thanks to customers with a wicked sense of humor.

LOL Shurikkaru - I often describe myself as brutally honest. As such, people either really like me or they hate my guts. Doesn't seem to be a grey area there for whatever reason. Go figure. ;)

Ummm... The bible is literally full of contradictions. Please attempt to recall an accurate timeline and circumstances surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ using all biblical text on the subject as reference. There are multiple glaring contradictions in each version or "book" written in the bible. Also, ignorance regarding mental illness surely had a lot to do with miracles. These days it seems all the lord can manage are manifestations in our breakfast foods. I do appreciate your honest reply however!

Religion doesn't just offend me. Christianity got its boost by being used as a way to control the population in Rome (pay your taxes and love thy neighbor are good examples of Constantine's influence). What offends me are honor killings, bigotry, teaching our children that Science is "flawed" while religion is always true, oppression, Holy wars, and legislation enacted due to one religions beliefs that attempts to undo every civil right that women, people of color, and the LGBT community have clawed and fought for over the years. I find these things offensive. I'm funny that way.

xx3eusxx - Wrong. If you are unprepared to give any breed of puppy the tools to succeed then get a stuffed animal or rescue an adult from a high kill shelter. Or get a cat. Toy breeds account for more bites each year than all medium to giant breeds put together.
