I agree completely. That being said the girl/guy in the middle are not necessarily anorexic. Some people are naturally just that skinny.

As a straight female I agree.

I just want to put it out there that healthy food doesn't always cost more. It's more work and takes planning but it's possible to eat well on a low income. Eating a pot of brown rice and beans with a side of banana or frozen veggies is cheaper than eating a couple items off the dollar menu in the long run. It's not glamorous but it's possible. That being said it really has to be important to you because like geluregis said cooking takes time and on top of that planning healthy affordable meals takes even more.
