And I too fix other engineers' mistakes all day. But...I get paid well to do it. So, yeah, it's *shrugs*

We do that sometimes too. But for most rustic projects to nice to keep all exposed edges uncut if possible.
This wood project tho...for fuck sakes, just get real hardwood. Get used ones if you want the old look, so you're still reusing them.

I have no tolerance for people that blame their hardships on things they think they can't control. I dont give a fuck if their black, white, Mexican, etc. All you have to do is have pride in yourself and work to make things better/different.

Ex:Hamtramck - within Detroit. Going through the same hardships. Yet the city at least looks good. The houses are up kept, there isn't mindless vandalism/theft. Proof that bad/good times are just what you yourself make of them.

I REALLY wish someone would offer up a legitimate suggestion verse just complaining about the current grading scale/education. I'm not trying to defend either side. But come on, if no one can offer a valid solution, it's just complaining for complainings sake.

That's because art and music are subjective... you can't really grade something that's subjective. I could love your art/music, yet teacher B thinks it's junk.

What if I told you, almost no one does. I'm an engineer and no I dont sit here and solve formulas all day. I dont use more than basic arithmetic most days.

The point is, these classes we take outside of our comfort zone help us to learn how to -learn-. It teaches you how to go about solving problems when at first you have no idea to its solution. And problem solving is a skill everyone needs, no matter their career choice.

Nope. Instead we have magic dice we must roll first. To determine the type of porn. After which we must sacrifice a lamb (if tuesday-friday) or a pig (Saturday-Sunday) and Monday is a free for all. Anything goes. Its pretty crazy.
