Tasmanian here. Over 1/3 of the state is unexplored, so there is a possibility of there being a pocket of Tas Tigers alive somewhere. Every now and then there is a "sighting". I've heard farmers say they have seen them and don't report it because they don't want the media circus.

I read "outstanding" as in YooHoo, that's amazing, outstanding. Then I realised it meant outstanding, as in unpaid. English is weird (not i before e except after c, you'll notice)

We were driving up a multiple hairpin road and I told him I was chasing the moon because it kept moving from one side of the car to the other. He got so excited telling me "There it is, go Mummy" then it would change side again (after the next hairpin bend). I would ask where did it go and he would wriggle like crazy against his car seat restraints trying to "find" it again. Made a car-sick inducing drive lots of fun.

Terry Pratchett says the turtle swims through space, just like oceanic turtles swim through water.

Is this only in Sydney? I just assumed it was a standard commuter train feature everywhere. I'll admit I haven't been on many trains outside of Sydney.

The guy is part of a professional soccer team (Brazil, I think) and this girl wiped the floor with him. This clip cuts out just as the rest of his team go nuts about her skills.

I once read the difference between pissing off a donkey and a zebra: Donkey will kick you and run away. Zebra will kick you and then stomp on you until you are dead.

Fantastic movie. I just watched Taraji P Henson talking about how nervous she was to play a real person and getting her approval was more important to Taraji than getting an Oscar nod.
