You could make the argument that it's not rape if a child agrees to sex? (Obviously psychological consent, not legal consent as they're not able to do this)
There is no shortage of 13 year olds that consented with someone of their own age, why can't they consent with someone older? The discussion also goes both ways, if they discuss sex with parents and doctors what's the issue?
(In case it needs saying, these are not necessarily my views, I'm engaging in thought experiments and discussion here)

The argument is often something like "But that is who they really are; they're a boy in girl's body or vice versa, or some non-binary identity"
.
I suppose you could say that if they're mature enough to make that call to the point of physical alterations, then they're old enough to consent to sex
.
I don't like where this could lead

Sure, the language used is arbitrary. The concept isn't

There's more:
Postmodernists see rules as arbitrary - all rules are ultimately arbitrary
.
Thus "2+2=4" is, in their minds, not a universal self evident truth
It's an expression of "power" by the "dominant group" (white people, apparently)
If another "group" came to "power" then that group could decide that "2+2=5"

That's linked to Critical Race Theory
CRT proponents see group identity as more important than individual identity
.
Their reasoning is something like this: more white people have traditionally been mathematicians than black people, therefore the "structure" of the mathematics world is biased towards white people, even if the white mathematicians themselves are not consciously and deliberately racist

It appears he actually said "“Mission complete, Houston. After serving the world for over 30 years, the shuttle has earned its place in history, and it has come to a final stop" but I think that's still beautiful

I fact checked this and it doesn't appear to be an actual quote by Wilde
Nonetheless, there's a certain poetry to it, and a picture of this witty chap is a nice little dose of history in and of itself
