I would presume this is for petty criminals, but I gotta say that isolation and being in one place forever is still going to drive someone mental. My grade had these people come in and talk about positive relationships, we were taught about how if you are in a negative relationship your bar is dropped so low that every slightly better relationship will be an improvement, no matter if it is still worse then average, it is better than what you had.
