I'm no psychiatrist but considering her obvious mental state I highly doubt she even knows who the father is!

Without knowing the whole background story about why they broke up (to be honest the mother seems to be a few bolts shy of a hardware store, in other words crazy, which could cause a breakup) he may have left her because of an attack or other reasons otherwise not related to pregnancy but would otherwise be a great father given different conditions. Also in cases like this it's recommended (also smart) for the father to leave before starting legal measures toward a custody fight.

This is a prime example of an unfit parent, that poor baby would be better off with the father.

It depends on the degree of the damage weather or not the eye can be repaired for instance a damaged lens can be replaced the fluid inside the eye can be replaced but nerve damage is 99% of the time irreparable unless they have improved the technology involved. I know when I was injured next to nothing could be done short of removing my eye and sealing the socket.

Does not apply for my one car as the gas cap is hidden behind the tag on the back of the car.
