Yep, I agree completely. Everybody suffers in war, and it's mostly just cruel to other victims of it to label one group the primary sufferers.

I figured it would be so, but it's still interesting to discuss what interplanetary laws will be.

I don't agree by that logic, but it is important to acknowledge the high rates of rape to women in war zones by both native and invading soldiers, as well as the loss of soldiers lives or injuries which happened to them. Also to consider some soldiers do sign up for war, but no women sign up to be raped

So if you were born on an American space station or spaceship would you then be American? Or would countries own certain sections of space around the earth/mars and so you would fall under their umbrella?

I agree with what your saying, and I do understand that animals (us included) will naturally perform behaviors suited to our physical structure. But it is my belief that, as itamemaria pointed out, we are very complex creatures, and currently in our present society it is society that is forcing these gender roles which have become unecessary to us or our survival. At one point we would have definitely benefitted from occupying strict roles and behaviours, it would've kept us alive. But currently there are only few roles which we "need" to keep, like a strong mothering connection between women and child when she's lactating. But things like a man being the "strong hunter" are not needed in a modern society, science technology and have allowed us to move away from the life and death need for these roles to be occupied and to me it's ridiculous to keep enforcing them.

And yes, hormones do influence the brain, but often cultural condition has the higher impact in shaping a person's behavior.

That is the question isn't it?Because it's actually interesting that our brains don't have a gender, they are "neutral" at birth and we are taught to behave a certain way to fit into 'boy' or 'girl'. You can can Google it and the effects of gender conditioning if you want to to know more.

Jesus christ, you'd be upset? Because your child is not using their body the way YOU want them to use it, by having kids?? You realize how weird that is right? It's their bod to do with as they please. And even if they were straight it's not a guarantee of them having children. Also I will point out Gay people can still have their own children? Sperm donation or surrogacy are definitely viable options for genetic continuation, as is if your child is in a relationship with a transgender person.

Acting in stereotypical feminine or masculine behaviors does make you a "woman" or a "man". It's ridiculous that liking certain types of clothing or colors, or being more exuberant has the ability to decide your gender.
