That 4 "had"s in a row was certainly a winner, lol. A comma after the first two would have helped a lot.

Evidently Italian, Finnish and Hungarian are the European languages that have the most regular and transparent rules. Italian kids can spell almost any word perfectly after only a few months of reading instruction. How to spell a word becomes obvious as soon as you hear it. The same is true for Finnish. It's a little harder with French, Portuguese, and Danish. They have writing systems that take longer for children to learn to read, but it's English that takes the longest of all the European languages. There are many more inconsistencies and complexities in the way English words are spelled.

Sadly, mankind's dream of limitless energy being supplied by apple fusion is still running into problems.

"Blending in with" is preferable to "oozing into". Please place feet accordingly, kitty is counting on you.

I heard that a few months ago, though Margaret Mead referenced it as the first signs of civilization, in that they had set up permanently, rather than living as nomads, thus allowing them the time to tend to an injured family member.

They were once called cameleopards since they were thought to look like a cross between sharks and ducks. J/K, obviously camels and leopards, but how cool would shucks be?

Never happened. Only posted one place, a fake news site. Their advisory says: "Empire News is intended for entertainment purposes only. Our website and social media content uses only fictional names, except in cases of public figure and celebrity parody or satirization. Any other use of real names is accidental and coincidental."

I would sell the tall gentleman one ticket, then make sure it fell to the floor as I handed it to him. Then I would eat popcorn while we all watched him attempt to pick it up. Good times.

Not at all the image that springs to mind when imagining a sea slug. They definitely need more competent PR representation.

This took place in 2013. Instead of having clients stream into the cafeteria 10 people at a time, the company recommended that diners take a seat just as soon as one becomes available. Toyota also set up a waiting room where diners could pick up trays and designated one employee whose job is to scour the dining room for an available space. Before they did this they helped supply over 1 million meals after Hurricane Sandy. Search for a 6 minute documentary entitled, "Meals per Hour", to see how they did it. Cash gets spent, great ideas keep on giving.

A shovel and some stealthy earth moving is a time honoured alternative method. Most places have a ready supply at hand if you're just willing to do a little work.

He was called The Governator, and at one point him and Stan Lee were looking to start up a superhero franchise aimed at kids, where The Governator was the titular star. You can find excerpts by searching for "Governator". https://youtu.be/R20cq_ZQ4bU

I prefer the ones, where they arrogantly sow doubt, which puts their fellow idiots and innocents equally in jeopardy, followed up by their announcement that, hey, Covid-19 might actually be real, since NOW, THEY'VE been diagnosed with it, followed up by a notification from their family that karma has decided they would permanently reap what they sowed. You would think that the gene pool would have been cleansed of these morons, 100 years ago, when their ancestoral idiots were spreading the same ignorant bullshit, with the same karmic results.

Sounds more like a challenge than fear. I suggest attaching a drone, lol, to get him to back off. And thus we have come full circle. :)

You should vacuum more often. I do it yearly, whether it needs it or not, lol. Seriously though, dogs are like two year olds and who knows what they're thinking. I've had 7 in my life, most were cool with vacuums and a couple absolutely LOVED a vacuum being applied to their fur, but the last one just wants nothing to do with them. As far as he's concerned it's just a big noisy machine that gets pulled around the house for no, logical to a dog, reason.

So more of a run than a walk. Just kidding, lol. If vacuum cleaners are any indication, my dog would also prefer to elsewhere than near a drone.
