Op is probably shorter than average, so they can't just look around tall people heads to see past.as a rule its relatively easy for someone 5'6 and above to see around 6ft because the shoulders aren't in their way. But shorter than that is usually just totally out of luck (my niece isn't even 5 ft so concerts suck for her)

TSA DID need an overhaul, but I think they ended up going drastically too far, especially when it comes to profiling. And the wars were covered in what I said. The Patriot Act is mire or less useless given that the actual powers behind any threat almost always have diplomatic immunity which usually supersedes the PA

Not really. It was, and is, the worst terrorist attack in history, and the ones responsible intended for it to be just the first. Yes, people in power took advantage to pursue their own goals, but that doesn't change the fact that the people as a whole were justified in their reaction

I think a lot of people, even those who were teenagers at the time, forget just how different every day life was pre9/11

I've had multiple pairs of shoes (admittedly cheap ones from Walmart but still) get their soles melted from walking outside. When I was working tech support for Verizon I happened to get a call from a girl on vacation here and she couldn't understand why her phone had just stopped working. She'd taken it out and sat it in the Sun on a stone bench for only a minute or so and it had fried it, at least temporarily.

A) Jon- since when did that stop him?
B) Sansa- you can be done with men, but still use one to get pregnant a few times, happens all the time in royal families.
C) Arya- you don't need to commit to a dick to get a pregnant. The uterus doesn't give a shit if you are in a long term relationship or having a roaring orgy, all it cares about is whether its wasted another damn month preparing.

Third term abortion is still legal, what isn't legal is Partial Birth Abortion, which, if you don't know what that is, for your own peace of mind, don't look it up. Sadly it was only made illegal a few years ago, and honestly, there is NO justification for it because if giving birth is supposedly so dangerous to the mother it totally defeats the point.

Oh yeah, with 100% humidity, I definitely don't miss that. But now I live in a desert where it reaches 115-120 for a solid month

Yeah, that's not a "friend", sounds more like a lawsuit waiting to happen. In honesty, if I'd been your parents I WOULD have pressed charges for that bullshit sending you home alone knowing you were hurt.

This is actually really sad because they are obviously confused and scared (as much as they are capable)

That's the problem, the media as well as many politicians and even religious leaders have convinced people that its a black or white issue, either no abortion EVER or you have to be okay with dismembering a full term baby. There is so much room for compromise without leaving out humanity, but that doesn't seem to matter, especially to politicians.

They CLAIM they are real roses, but I have to think they mean real as in having tangible form, rather than anything grown in soil.

No, you don't have to pick extremes. Our "leaders" need to grow the hell up and stop treating our lives like a game. There are obviously compromises but because neither side wants to look like they might be weaker they refuse to play. Its why we were never supposed to have a two party system, there is enough diversity.
I will say, partial birth abortion has been outlawed, though only a few years ago, which I find horrific that it took that long.
