I've never heard anyone refer to that type of injury as a "skid mark." That is something different. We'd either say "scraped me knee" or maybe "brush burns." Maybe a regional thing?

I had a professor in college who did this every year for March Madness. But he would pick topics like which president was the best, which Disney movie had the most cultural impact, etc.

No, my guess is they are saying something a bit more drastic. Even people with access to education and birth control still have 2, 3, 4+ children. Which would mean the population is still growing exponentially. My guess is he is thinking more like everyone can only have one child, or even only some people can have a child.

@parisqeen Yes, completely agree. I feel like I could do a lot more with my time. Now I work until 5:00/5:30 and have an hour and a half commute - it sucks.

They always make it sound like a bad thing, but I agree, I think it sounds nice. Would you rather work nights and weekends? Have unpredictable or unreliable hours? Who ever thought 9-5 was a bad thing?! I had a job where I worked 8-4 and had all holidays off and it was great.

Sort of off-topic, but: I think the public should be aware of what is going on and news should (objectively) let people know about events such as this. However, I am torn, because I feel like these events have gotten so much publicity that it is causing more of a problem (because the offenders want attention/fame/glory/etc.)
