I was making a joke rather than an argument but I suppose one could take it as either a defense of those two or a criticism of those who put them in power.

Well, white supremacists do idolize the Nordic stereotype, so there's room for confusion.

Because white people don't have a culture, right? So European-based folk stories or fairy tales like Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty etc. are all up for grabs?

Spiders are great until you walk through a doorway and feel a web on your face.

Oh, you think ww2 vets were going on Freedom Rides into Alabama? Nope, those were 20-year-olds. Also teens and 20somethings were doing sit-ins and protests in front of gov. and corporate offices and college administration buildings to bring about change. Once out of college, they didn't just evaporate into thin air. They entered society and effected change from within the government and by being the largest voting bloc. By then they had all the political influence.
The "Greatest Generation" were the ones who wanted to keep things as they were in the 50s which was the society they built. They were the ones who called out the riot squads on the protesters and the National Guard who shot down students at Kent State. They were the businessmen and politicians who were scared shitless because their kids were rejecting their outmoded values.
If you think the boomers had everything and left you nothing, then do what they did. Break the system. Tune in, turn on and drop out.

The sixties and seventies were the beginning of civil rights, women's rights, environmentalism, distrust of government and big business, opposition to unnecessary war and Nixon's resignation. Sounds like they changed a lot of things.

Miss Security didn't seem interested in doing her job. I wonder if she gets the same salary as the guy who actually did something.
