I'm going to attempt a thing. Once a day for the rest of February, I'm going to post a picture honoring Black History month. I can find them on my own, but I've found I enjoy dedicating them to people, so if you'd like one dedicated to you let me know :)

I have done a little research with HeLa cells, before I started working with the ovarian cancer lab. As the propositus of the HeLa cell line, the first immortal cell line, scientists have learned more about cancer by studying her than from any other source in the 3+ millennia we've been aware of the disease.
