Yes on occasions. Sometimes that helps though. You wanna talk about anything sero?

I do that a lot.
It's just I do that too much and wonder if people do that or that I need to get help.
Most likely both...

Talking isn’t for everyone. I wasn’t into talking. So instead I followed something I read online, I made a diary, a date to somewhere in the future, then I write pretentious entries on what i “predict will happen” in the future that are realistic, like for example, meeting a crush, accepted into a good university etc etc. That somehow tricks your mind into thinking there is a future that be beautiful. It just helps I guess

Forgot if there's an official psychological term for this but I just tell clients it's the "quicksand of the mind." Like the more you fight it the more your mind makes up shit to bring you down. So it's better to just let those thoughts pass through and say "Yup, that's sad. Time to make some pasta." Or "Wow, yeah that situation would be horrible, but I gotta study for this exam." Recognise the thoughts without dwelling on them.

Jesus.
That's what I call it when I'm being self aware.

@unicycle has some good tips. If you keep dwelling on one then you just end up spiralling into more and it gets hard to come out of that type of thinking. I would only suggest you get help if it really starts damaging your every day life, where it starts to make things hard to do. If they're just waves try and let them pass but if they are constant then try to ground yourself. If that doesn't work then maybe see somebody so you can start feeling better
