If it’s not venomous shoe it out with a broom or similar, or pick it up and do whatever. If it is venomous or you aren’t certain.... either call animal control or roll the dice with option 1. Likewise a bucket or other improvised container could be used- or You can kill it with rocks or heavy objects by crushing its skull.

Ok so what you can do, if you are able to, trap it’s head and pick it up behind the head.

Well, my uncle’s solution would be to grab it on the neck right up to its head and put it in a pillow case. My dads solution would be to get a shovel and chop it’s head off on the floor

Don’t attempt to catch it unless you know for certain what type it is and if you’ve had experience catching snakes before. Call the police and tell them that there is a large snake in your room and you aren’t sure if it’s venomous or not.

I usually deal with water snakes so if its small to medium size and black with an orange belly step delicatley on its head and then grab it by its neck right behind its head and chuck it (literally throw it theyre tough) outside if its not that kind of snake look it up and then do that

Look up its physical description if you can see it well enough. Call the police and tell them you think it's that species and either wait for them to arrive or follow their instructions

Yeah nah I wouldn't attempt to catch it unless you've had experience with snakes and are CERTAIN it's not venomous. Call a snake catcher or your equivalent to that, in the meantime keep your room shut and blocked so it can't roam anywhere else. It won't try and harm you unless you provoke it, just looking for shelter or a nice warm dark place to sleep.
