The only thing im upset about is Starlord losing is shit. I mean I totally understand why his honey was murdered. Id be pissed too but im still mad that it all went to shit when starlord fucked up. And tom holland has knack for making me cry like it was heart wrenching HC when he was trapped and now his "death" equally so.

In the end dr strange "this was the only way" so i think the what star lord did was a part of their plan

Maybe so. But Dr. S is at the center of this he either knows something or did sonething that we OBVIOUSLY dont know i mean he told us. And what about Capt. Marvel at the end?
blazingfrags · 6 years ago

I just saw it... I don't feel so good...
But WHY. THE. HELL. DID THEY NOT JUST.CUT THANOS'S ARM OFF?!
Why did they waste so much time trying to pull the gauntlet off?!
texasranger · 6 years ago
The writers needed star lord to be an idiot

OML MAN I JUST GOT HOME FROM SEEING THIS AND I CANT EVEN PUT IT INTO WORDS
tcole3710 · 6 years ago
If Thanos’ goal was to prevent poverty, why couldn’t he have provided more resources, using the full gauntlet?
texasranger · 6 years ago
Cuz hes a dickhead

The universe may be infinite in direction, but it's NOT infinite in space. If it were infinite in space the entire sky would always be brighter than the Sun constantly since there would be infinite stars in infinite directions. You can only add so much mass without TRULY throwing everything out of whack and entire galaxies collapse on each other; killing far more than half the universe; killing everyone. It just wouldn't work. Killing half of all life lets the universe retain the VAST majority of it's mass, even though it would lose some.

edit; just deleted the first post and reposted it with corrections cuz I found like 7.

Surely he could destroy uninhabited places, or use resources from them?
betterthanyou · 6 years ago
It's a comic book movie. Stop overanalyzing it.
funkmasterrex · 6 years ago
and how the hell would he distribute those resources? Raining down meteors carrying them or expanding a planet and increasing it's gravity still both result in extinction level events. There's also the matter of distributing it; He didn't go through a list and picked who lived or died; it was random.

@tcole3710 it probably would have taken too much power to create resources for the entire universe. Using the gauntlet to kill everyone already destroyed it.
