Well, to be fair, memes and all manner of media gets reused even after it has past its sort of “moment in time,” and may even make a “comeback” of one sort or another. I think the point isn’t that the meme would never be circulated anywhere again, but that it would become a much rarer case where it was seen or discussed as there is another more socially relevant matter on people’s minds. In the vein that “Earth Chan” or derivatives isn’t seen as often but may pop up here and there, or how for a period today almost every other meme was a moth+lamp meme. It’s cyclical what you’re most likely to see and the various permutations of the “flavor of the month” one might are. Never gone, but less seen. I personally don’t have strong feelings on Bowserette one way or another so long as it isn’t every other meme. Or page.
