Found something you guys are gonna like a lot

So I've been hearing bird chirps around the house for like a month now, except I couldn't find where the hell they were coming from. We have a carport that's just a roof supported by four brick pillars, with two empty nests at the top. We looked like everywhere, trying to find where the nest was

Then, 3 days ago, we figured out that these supporting pillars were actually hollow. So the birds are down at the bottom of one of these 2 metre deep wells, and they are 20x20 cm in area

As far as we could identify them, they are parrots and there's 6 of them. They're doing completely fine as of right now, and from what we figured, it was actually a great spot for them, since normally these guys nest in hollowed out trees, and these pillars are even better, because they are also covered from the top.

Woah, that’s neat! Where do you live that you just hve parrots flying around?

South Australia, they're everywhere here. I haven't actually seen them being visited by their parents, which would make identifying them much easier, but we have quite a bunch of different species here all over the place.
