I know it's not that important but the movie But I'm a cheerleader is about a girl who finds out she is gay when her friends and family send her to a gay conversion therapy program and she falls in love with one the girls.
She didn't even think she was gay till she went to the program.
It is one of my favorite romance movies. It has a great look to the film and so many great charecters and actors.

It'd be such a major scandal nowadays, but it's a satire so it may have gotten a slight pass. That movie was hilariously stupid. I laughed at the fact that they put a bunch of horny lesbian girls into a room together to make them go straight.
