Context could help- drugs tend to be named based on a culture of use or by setting. For instance a fantasy setting wouldn’t likely call something “Electric Xyz” and an alien drug wouldn’t likely be called “Odins Blessing.”
Also keep in mind that some drugs aren’t called by their street name for their good effects as much as their bad ones, and the naming speaks to that, or a particular of its use. “Crack” for instance doesn’t specifically deal with a negative effect of the drug, but has a negative connotation (“crack” is not generally a positive verb,) but the name refers to the crackling sound it makes when it is smoked. Drugs tend to have multiple street names and often a common one is a shortened version of the “full” street name (crack= crack cocaine= crackling cocaine...

.... shrooms=mushrooms=magic mushrooms, etc.) many drugs are also named from or are short hand for their pharmacology or chemistry (LSD, Ocy, mdma, etc.) so if you have a fake clinical name for the drug you can also base the name off of that.
