Well, for one, this site is more 'memes and comedy' than 'hey lemme show off my art'. Most people are here for things that make them laugh.

I don’t think we are “showing off”. The only reason I decided to post it was to create more user interactions. The images have been sitting on my phone for like, 2 years. If I wanted to show off, I’d post something more serious. That’s not my point, though. I guess you’re right with the “fun” part of this site, but the images could fall under “entertaining” as well.

Eh, it's mostly just jokes here. Like there are a few people who enjoy art, but like what I did? That was more or less a joke. Like, it's just funny looking, and I thought I'd post it since actual art was being posted. Us here, we just come for memes.

For sure. I’m still figuring out the community here. I’ve been around for a long time, but never really been a part of the discussion. I’m also hella socially awkward and ask questions like this all the time that may come off as arrogant or desperate. Definitely not my intention.

I tried posting my art for another viewpoint and I got some really hurtful comments. Then I realized that I don’t make my paintings for other people, I make them for me to get my feelings out. I stopped posting them here though.

Yeah, tbh, I think people would enjoy it if you did like, funny paintings tho, or just basically what I did. Things that look dumb. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to tell you how to do what you do, just, more suggestions on how it could be more accepted here. Alot of users who did art got a lot of likes for offering to do portraits or stuff.
