Really quiet

Although J2's version was really good, I still find Draiman's deep voice amazing.

I find Draiman’s version to be “yeah, darkness and me go way back. We’re best buds, heck, I live in it” where as the original is more “darkness is an unfortunate friend I’ve had to make in time, and now we are chained together”. That is just my opinion, Draiman seems false in his presentation, edgy for the sake of edge.

Although, listening to the J2 version, I find more passion than Draiman...but not as much ingenuity as the original.
I would place:
1. Original
2. J2
3. Draiman

What about the Disturbed version.

I feel as if they both kinda forgot about the entire "silence" bit. That being said, Draiman's voice would definitely be better suited for rock. J2 made an interesting choice with their orchestra, so much so that it felt like a different song with the original's lyrics pasted on top. Definitely like the original best.

@anjelica237 “Draiman” is referring to Disturbed. He is their lead singer.

I actually don't like the original... It sounds so flat and off-key to me. J2's is my favorite because it sounds so epic, and I love Disturbed's vocals, and the fact that he does the full song. I wish J2 would have extended their lyrics to encompass the entire thing.
