I know that's a vague question.. Also, does funsubstance have a concept of private message?

Have you ever read the unwind series? One of my favorites.
funkmasterrex · 5 years ago
@jmmcclain there's a discord... or was... dunno if it's still around. Other than that? No.

@one_puma, I have not. Sounds interesting. Based off a quick summary I read it kind of reminded me of Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro which I like a lot. It is intensely sad though. I'll check it out. Thanks!

@funkmasterrex thanks! I've never used discord. I've heard of it... Idk, I haven't used many things. I'm not sure it would be healthy if this site had that anyways.. It just seems like I'm broadcasting out things to everyone at all times and that makes me feel vulnerabile. Maybe that's an okay thing

Haha, I enjoy that feeling, but I love debates and discussions... knowing anyone can read it makes me keep doing research and if I get fact-checked and am wrong, the humility to own up. :) Overall I consider it a positive. I also say fucked up shit though, so that can sometimes turn negative... again, I tend to figure that out as well, so still a net positive.
Discord is basically... if a Razor phone were AIM messenger, Discord would be an Iphone or Galaxy....

Ahahahahahaha @riyriamistborn my FFXI in-game name was "Decimius" and I made a secondary "Decimus" character for item storage, some crafting, gardening, auction house selling, and as a bazaar for AFK when selling crafting materials buy the corresponding guild.
Naturally I looked up the last suggestion... I like d<,.,<d

Honestly, for my next drawing, it's my go to for music background.

Music is my forte. May I suggest artists such as: Ava Max, Kim Petras Of even Zara Larson

@riyriamistborn Have you read the Wheel of Time? That's all I've read of Sanderson but he did a great job finishing Jordan's work. I've thought about reading Sanderson's other stuff but I didn't know where to start. I am guessing by your username that you're a fan of Mistborn. I will give it a look!

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is one of my all time favourite book series and its immensely funny as well
When it comes to music you should try Cat Empire, there amazing musicians and they have a huge variety of music
I'd also try Alt-J. They're one of my all time favourite bands

@jasonmon
I'm afraid I've only read the first book so far. I have the series on my kindle wish list, but the series is so big that even the bundle is over $100!

Not very many people have read the Wheel of Time. It's a huge undertaking! I'm just over the moon that Amazon picked it up and is making a show out of it.

Thanks! I've got a running list of these I'm going to try and check out.
