To live a happy life, or to bring a change to the world for the better. One of these two, or both.

Biologically it is to create new life and then die to conserve/become resources for the future generations. Philosophically? To stay hydrated, maybe?

To die.

It’s based on your capacity to process and reform information, as well as the influence of others’ information processes. Basically, it’s about you and things that happen around you. You can’t prove your existence to another, only to yourself. Preservation is a huge part of that proof. As cliché as it sounds, the point of life is to live. Of course, that’s an incredibly generalized statement pertaining to a wildly complex set of systems. But living is your decision, it is your will. We are essentially thoughts with a mobile vessel. I don’t know what happens after we die, I’ve had my share of near-death experiences, and each one has been insanely different. So, you should give into your will because that is who you are. Everything we do is within the human spectrum. I never understood when someone says something another does is “inhuman”, as it is within the confines if being human. “Living” has such a broad definition...in fact, it’s so complex, that each of us must find our our own...

...reasons to continue to live. From what I understand, the point of life is the most dichotomous thing to ever exist, because of how simple or how complicated you can define it. So, in short, it’s capacity and what you do with it, how you define living, and giving into your will for the sake of self-preservation. That’s just what I think.

I mean to say, this is all for humans. It becomes much easier to define for animals, since contemplation is something that escapes then. Even gorillas are unable to ask “why?” That single limitation is what sets us apart. For animals, it’s preservation of lineage and shelter. Again, that is my personal viewpoint.

I don't think life necessarily has a purpose. Although I guess we can't say for sure without knowing how or why life began.

I think I agree with @firmlee_grasspit. Purpose of life is to just live. Whether you wish to find a bigger purpose for yourself well that's up to you, as every human individual has their own will and conscious to make a decision such as this. For me, I don't have a purpose but I do know that at the end of the day I just want to make others feel loved and feel love and happiness for myself.
