the way the footer ad is placed, if a post has only a single top level comment and more than a few replies the ad blocks the reply button for the latest comment effectly soft locking the comment chain until either someone else makes a new top level comment or you inspect element the ad away. The ads also take up only a small area in the middle of the bottom of the screen however the node they occupy covers the entire bottom of hte screen from left to right instead of just the area the ad is in blocking access to the button at the bottom right which autoscrolls the page to the top.
