Gearing up to play D&D for the first time in a while and I'm still a month out from playing yet have made 4 characters. I have a problem.

It's fine, just get a $2 subscription on DnDBeyond so you can make infinite characters. I finally slowed down around 18 characters with full backstories and such. Literally have only played 2-3 but got backups for days.

I've given up fighting my addictive personality and just feed it acceptable outlets.

What kinds of characters do you make anyways?

Some min-max, usually 2 of each class with different story concepts, or any funny ideas that pop up.

I play anything that isn't a caster, aside from Warlocks.

I did that once.

Well ya know sometimes you can't seem to get rid of a character and they need a little nudge.
