Great stuff enjoy wherever it takes you, a word of advice you will hit a wall at some point where you don't feel like you are getting any better and you may become unmotivated by it, keep chipping away at it eventually you will get through it

Electric guitar is awesome. I suggest trying to learn to stretch your fingers and do bar chords as soon as you are able, it's tricky but really really worth it in the long run.
