When I’m active, the amount of notifications I get about people commenting on posts even when I wasn’t involved was way too much to follow, so I stopped following and manually checked. I started saving up my notifications but would always accidentally tap them and clear them at around 150+ each time, about 3-4 times now. Anyone else like this?

I had I think about 1600-ish during that time with all those porn bots. Which I believe was the reason we can't post links in comments anymore.

When I was new and super active. I used to have a minimum notifications of 40 an max was around 150 or so.
I would comment on every post and post a lot too. People had the perception that I don't even sleep, which was kind of true at the time. I was in a different place. Now the max I get is like, 10 and minimum 0...
But there were a shit ton of people back then, so it was fun.

A few years back, on one of my other accounts, i went through a stage where my OCD was really bad, and i obsessively followed every post from the last 4 years or so. I don't remember how high it got, just that i couldn't clear them all.

Yeah, it was a chore. Some days it would take up at least an hour to go through all of them.

I think @mgoveia, @lucifer, or @pebbleinthepond had a hiatus of a couple years and came back to a couple thousand notifications. I can't remember specifically who, but the person noted that it wouldn't go past after a certain number of pages

The most I’ve had is after a yearlong hiatus were 50
