In the world of Halo, my favorite playthroughs were Halo 3: ODST and Halo 5: Guardians, my least favorite were Halo 4 and Halo 3. In the world of Gears of War, Gears 2 and 3 were the best, though I didn't have any least favorites (Gears 5 came close with all the JD-related bullshit but it redeemed itself later on and became a close runner up). Battle Rifle is overrated, duel-wielded Maulers are tons of fun, Gears 4-5 Hammerburst sucks so much ass it's not even funny, the Retro Lancer gets too much shit for how cool it is, and the Rookie shouldn't have died just to make Buck a Spartan.

ODST had such a cool atmosphere, alternating between mellow and ominous. It's really unique among the Halos. I love Halo 4 but I agree, Halo 3 is week and wasn't nearly as good as it should have been.

Halo 3 and 4 were my most rage-inducing playthroughs, plus Gears 1. That motherfucker RAAM was a beast. Also deciding if I should play through the Halo Wars games too.

Controversial opinions about Halo in this chat huh. I don’t know about Gears though so that means nothing to me, they could be controversial too. Halo Wars is quite strange, but if you have nothing better to do, go right at it! It’s a completely different style of game and notoriously difficult on high difficulty, but not as notorious as Halo 2 on Legendary

Fam I had trouble beating all the games on Normal (except for ODST and Reach, I know those games like the back of my hand). I like RTS games anyway.

Raam was one of the most frustrating boss fights ever for me, especially on the hardest difficulty I wanted to cry. Personally, I think the Halo Wars games are awesome and a really good time

They take up so much space though.

They're worth clearing out a few games
