PC because its cheaper than an Xbox and can play all the xbox games through the game pass you would be getting on xbox anyways. It's just xbox but more.
if you want PS exclusives then wait for them to be ported either offically or unofficallly onto pc where you already have all the xbox exclusives.

i'm looking at a new laptop, but so many to choose from

I would suggest one from the Lenovo Y series or one from the dell gaming series. I own a Lenovo Y-50 and other than a bit of heating issues it runs perfect for a 5 year old laptop

The current best laptop for gaming is the newish asus laptop. It’s 1400 bucks which is a bit pricy but it’s got a 4900hs and an rtx 2060 in it which is fucking amazing. The 4900hs is the absolute best laptop processer on the market and compared to other computers of similar price it’s a beast of a machine. It’s also a thin and light so it’s easy to transport AND powerful at the same time. The best of all worlds.

If you can, strongly recommend you push for a desktop. You'll get a lot more for your money. Skytech Gaming prebuilts' are outstanding.

I'm looking between asus and msi, desktop not an option at this stage as it needs to be transported.

MSI might edge out Asus just a tad on performance metrics, but Asus will be solid performance and will significantly outlive MSI.

again, the objectively best laptop on the market is the asus with the 4900hs in it

How dare you bring objectivity into this. :P

What you think of Asus TUF FX505?
bethorien · 3 years ago
its alright, but the zephyrus g14 is only a couple hundred dollars more and itll stay relevent FAR longer. IF you absolutely cant afford the 1400 for that a TUF wouldnt be awful
iccarus · 3 years ago
i'm also looking at availability also, the TUF is at the shop now, the Zephyrus is not in stock, also, it's about AU$2,400
bethorien · 3 years ago
thats dumb, thats like 300 dollars more expensive than it should be converting currency

it's Australia, they add their own taxes to it.
