Semi glad I couldn't afford to impulse buy cyberpunk now. Not even sure if I will come payday now. My two options to play would be an xbox 1, which I hear it's not doing too great on, or through Stadia, which is game streaming; meaning at times I'd probably be trying to play it at like 720p at random times. Since it's doubtful that I'll get one of the new xbox systems until they've been out for another year, and that it's unlikely that it's ever really gonna run well on a regular xbox 1, guess I'm just gonna have to read books for entertainment forever, or until cyberpunk is no longer being talked about online.

Yeah just wait till you can find used disks of the game for a lot cheaper or get a semi decent PC and just pirate the game

If you're buying for PC you're set. If you're buying for either Xbox 1 (or anything from the 1 generation) or for PS4 you're going to be unhappy. Sony--the arbiter of no returns--is offering refunds for CP... when freaking Sony is offering refunds you know there's a problem.

The 'pc' I own is a 5 year old laptop. So there's no way in hell that's gonna work. Figure if anything, I'll bite the bullet and get it on stadia.

I mean, the PC I own is a decade old laptop, but it was a ‘high end’ gaming laptop of its time, so I guess that doesn’t count

Mines just... An acer laptop. Literally opening a browser after startup can take 20 minutes.

Have you factory reset it? It won't solve all your issues but it will remove a lot of the junk that could be slowing your pc down

Also, and this isnt something you should do if you're not an advanced user, making sure your bios is up to date might help a lot as well.
