One more Disney topic I thought of:
We all know that when it reaches midnight in Cinderella everything goes back to the way it was before- which leads me to wonder why the prince still had the slipper if everything else disappeared :O

Update: After the coach collapses one of the mice sees her other slipper still there!

Maybe the slipper wasn't bound by the midnight rules? Cos, when she notices the slipper, is in her hand she goes "thank you" to, supposedly, her fairy godmother, so I think she let her keep it as a memento which meant the other one still remains as well.

I thought she was saying thank you for noticing it to the mouse

In my memory I remember her looking up as she says it, but I'm guessing you watched it recently so better to trust ur memory then my own.
