So it started off kinda weird. I got this like... blurb for the dream. Kids deal with a monster in the basement of their school.
Then, I’m leaving someone’s house with my brother. He ends up finding his own way home, and I start walking. I find a random movie ticket voucher for a movie called “Black Dollar” or something like that. My brother wanted it, but I decided I wanted to see the movie. I sent a picture of it to my friend, which ended up really weird as the photo became very long and skinny

I end up walking within view of a highway, and realise that I should just call an Uber home. I try to, but my phone has apparently connected to some wifi. And a bad one at that.
Then, a girl steps up beside me. As I know this is a horror-type dream, I say to her jokingly “My phone isn’t working. Am I standing on a grave or something?”
She then leads me away from the highway and towards a school that is nearby, telling me that they could use my help

She leads me into a classroom where there’s one large tressel table in the middle, and a bunch of chairs. Most of the seats are filled. Before I can sit down, however, someone yells and points at the floor near the doorway. They’re shouting about a finger.
I look over and it takes me a while to spot it. It’s small and dirty and covered in rags like a mummy. Suddenly, more of the hand comes forward and I realised that it wasn’t confined to the basement.
The girl that led me in there quickly jumped over it and out of the room. Before anyone else could follow, it raised up a full arm, now blocking the path. Everyone was panicking. I threw a chair at it, it caught it and threw it back. Why did I have to watch Kingdom Hearts?
I managed to dodge that attack, and tried figuring out a plan. My first plan was to get the hand lower so I could get on the table and jump over it. Unfortunately I woke up before I could enact this plan

Oh shit I forgot
While I was waiting near the highway, I had visions of cars crashing. 18 wheelers in particular. Some cars driving over the side, etc.
When I got into the room with the other people, they were sharing what they saw, and the girl encouraged me to share as well. That was before the mummy

I haven’t been getting much sleep and I knew what I was going into so it wasn’t as scary.

Oh shit I also had another dream last night where someone was controlling various insects to steal stuff and I’m not sure why
Oh and a dream where we went to a volcano, and it had a temple where we got trapped inside and it showed our ideal life until we died

Lucid dreaming sounds cool.

Also man you're not okay. I'd say keep your room clean(esp pillow) and sleep with a knife, thats how we deal with nightmares here.

Wait,... do you get to choose the premise of the dream when you lucid dream??? Like if thats the case its like giving yourself nightmares... umm idl

For me, it's like playing an interactive movie I didn't pick. I can stop it at any time, but I'm along for the ride. and I can't change it completely out of genre.
