She's doing this for you. Take time, clean your room and learn new skills. Cook her a full course meal when she comes back.

That's a great suggestion! I would LOVE it if I came home and my kid had tidied up, or picked some flowers, or planned a dinner to do together or just baked something. It's the thought that counts!!

Mum doesn’t really want me to do anything for her but I’ll give her a really big hug when she comes home :)

Also we’re making bread and butter pudding together this weekend- I’ve found a really nice recipe!
