Hi Catfluff. Hopefully by the time you see this the feeling has passed and all is well.
Just in case this may be of help to you- breathe. Anchor yourself in the moment. In where you are. Look around you and try to find at least 6 objects that are a shade of red. Then look around and try to find 6 objects that start with the first letter of each of the 6 red objects you found. Set a timer and for at least 1 minute- close your eyes and take deep breaths.
In this time try to empty your mind, or at least think positive thoughts.
Now- everything is alright. Or- certainly not so bad as doom. You’re doing ok, most people are doing ok, and those that aren’t will be doing just fine eventually. Remind yourself things are ok. Bad things sometimes can happen, but seldom are those bad things doom, they are temporary. Focus on your breathing. Be very conscious of your breaths and what you are feeling from those breaths. Focus your mind on the sensations. Don’t just let your body breath,

Will it. Do it with purpose. Breath from your diaphragm through your nose. Not your belly. Feel the difference. Belly-diaphragm. When you can feel you are breathing from your diaphragm, breath slowly. Deep and slow breaths. Make them easy even to the next. Deep in, hold it for a moment, slow and full breath out. Repeat. It’s all ok. Really. If you have these feelings once in awhile you’re fine. It is natural. If you have them more often, you’re still ok, but consider speaking to a therapist if that is an option as they may be able to help you feel this less often or find ways that work to help you manage the feelings when they come.

If you can do so now, some activity might be good, a run, some weights, dance or something physical. If you don’t currently have a regular routine of activity, you might consider starting one. But most of all, you’re ok. Things are ok.

What @guest_ said. Sounds like generalised anxiety. Keep reminding yourself there's nothing wrong and focus on breathing. A bit of exercise can help to <3

Honey, feelings of impending doom can be extremely serious side effects of some medications. I agree with what the others guys wrote, but if you are feeling this way and have never felt this way before please GO TO THE ER.
