96? You're telling me, the average testicle is near boiling point? You'd scald your legs
tarotnathers13th · 8 years ago
They would logically be your body temperature. 96 degrees Fahrenheit, not Celsius.
phanofbands · 8 years ago
Yeah, I can't remember if they're just above or below body temp. (Fahrenheit, should've specified)
demon_razgriz · 8 years ago
Core body temperature is around 37 degrees. A single degree higher or lower would kill you.
phanofbands · 8 years ago
Oh. Oops xD well now I'm just gonna look it up hold guys
phanofbands · 8 years ago
Oh, okay it actually is 94-96 degrees F, I was correct
dimebag · 8 years ago
It's actually cooler than your regular body temperature, it needs to be, that's why it's "outside" of the body

thethirdi · 8 years ago
The male body has a high priority of keeping the testicles as close to average body temperature as possible, which is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. So hot as balls is roughly 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. This is why when males get warm, the first thing that sweats is the genital region in an attempt to cool off the reproductive organs so they do not overheat.

I believe the same happens in female bodies with their ovaries, but it's a bit different since ovaries are internal
