IDK, my family's home in Mexico was in a city like this. Fruit trees literally everywhere. No one sold them, bc they were wild fruit trees and not as pretty or sweet as genetically modified fruit trees. Not bad though, I tried them once in a while.

I asked my mom about this, she's from Mexico, and she said toasters are not common appliances in Mexican households, and since toast is also not a common Mexican food, it makes sense to buy it pre toasted for occasional treats. 4 years late but oh well.

I don't really see the argument here tbh. Very few people get sick because of unwashed produce, but if you can wash it, why take the chance? I see that it's the parents choice to vaccinate their kids, and should be respected in a sense, but there is a lot of data that vaccinations are the healthiest decision for both the individual and society. And hyperbole through humor is just one way that groups/advocates can spread a message that may be lost on some anti vax parents, which is that disease and mortality are very real risks of their decisions.

Actually only 40-60% of people regularly use porn. It's a high number, for sure, but not everyone does it.

Statistically, a woman on the pill her whole life has a 70% chance of having at least one pregnancy. I heard that on a talk show so no source, but I hear a lot about women who take the pill regularly and still get pregnant so I believe it. Even sterilized women still have a chance of getting pregnant (1 in 200). So alas there's no sure fire method.
