I don't think it's just for kids, I think it's just for Japanese people. Not being racist, I'm just saying it was designed in and for a completely different culture than anywhere apart from Japan.

Also, everyone pictures them as these crumbling stone pyramids, where in actuality, when they were new, they were covered in smooth, white limestone, and reflected more light than we can imagine. What we see now are the old deteriorated, broken down versions.

Realistically, all you'd need to do is measure the distance from the base to the window, then the same distance straight out from the house. Theoretically, he can't be harmed if it's done right. And hey, it worked!
