Firstly, it doesn't look like from 1991. I mean, the rock formation inside the hole is almost exactly the same. Secondly, cement is not that expensive you know. It's relatively small pothole in your own neighborhood. Go fix it yourself with your neighbors.

And cheap too. Especially when it comes to food. You love free food, skimp on groceries yourself and aren't hospitable when guests come over (few snacks, never a dinner invite).

Oh good. I was waiting for some moron to try and defend this.
Listen here cum-slut, I bet you 5 million dollars that you don’t own a bird. But guess what? I own 7. And I can tell you right now that a bird would never just walk into something like a chocolate fountain. They’ll rarely walk directly into water.
But say that your idiotic theory is correct.
Say it did actually walk into it.
That animal still probably died.
Is that still funny to you? Do you still get your kicks out of knowing that that bird was probably terrified and opening its mouth to scream in that last panel?
And if you say yes then you seriously disgust me as a human being.

There was that guy in the comics who wore a red or orange turtle neck shirt, but it was pulled up over his nose. Please tell me I didn't dream that.

School is less about teaching facts and more about teaching processes. They may not list out "How to follow oral directions & work together with a group of others towards a common goal while also paying attention to patterns/rhythms."
The processes are where you find the information you need, and how to use the tool that can help you find the answers. Technology progresses, if you can figure out where to find info you're aces.
Honestly 95% of taxes are pretty much spelled out for you. If you don't make enough money the tax companies or tax professionals provide free help and filing (this is why the Fed doesn't make their own tax filing program which would make everything even easier, at least as far as gathering paperwork, they made an agreement with the tax software companies that if they provide this then they will never compete with them). Having also worked with (with, not for) the IRS, they said point blank that their forms and translations are at a third grade reading level.

Sure, it’s simple if you do the extreme close up this picture has. Zoom it out to where they’re from and it gets a little bit more complicated.
Arrogant know-nothing.
Also, morally: Are you SURE your stance is brutality (or implied threats of bad action) aren't a problem because it’s grinding down an issue you’d rather not have? Are you *absolutely certain* this is your platform? Are you 100% bought in this is the right way to think?
You just need to be very, very clear that this is a place you want to stand. If an action is not acceptable, defining a group as deserving it doesn’t change that fact. Period. There’s not nearly the room for moral equivocation you wish there was. Playing (or being) a know-nothing doesn’t change anything, least of all culpability for the development of morally coherent self-philosophy.

What about the people who do work, but get tax credits, giving them two to three times more money back at the end of the year than they paid in? I only bring this up because most of the people complaining about where their tax money goes aren't the ones support the poor. Your little pittance of a tax contribution, if you don't get it all back at the end of the year, isn't really doing much. You should probably calm down.

Good for you. HR here - it is actually illegal to tell employees they can’t discuss salary. This is because it has become defined as an equal pay issue.
Equal pay is also why employers in many places are not allowed to ask for previous salaries. That avoid people’s lack of past or present negotiation skills or other non-merit/non-directly-job-related reasons affecting current pay.
The reasoning is sound: If the job is worth $X, and the person is qualified, pay them $X. Employee salaries are costed into overhead.
As a side note: I have to say seeing it from my perspective, all this doom-and-gloom just sounds vaguely like an attempt to pour cold water, caution, or fear onto someone acknowledging openly they needed help. This is non-ideal. I said the above hoping that interjecting some establishment bias (law and regulation) in favor of this action will reassure you, and make you less likely to choose non-helpful or problematic reactions.

How conservative can they be if they let non-spouses sleep over? I don't care if girls sleep in the girls room and boys sleep in the boys room, very conservative people aren't letting any non-family members stay over.
